Cookie Notice

Effective September 13, 2026 · CyberDefenseDesk LLC, d/b/a Valley CISO

Every cookie and third-party script that runs on valleyciso.com, what it is for, and how to switch the optional ones off.

This notice lists what actually runs on valleyciso.com. If we add anything, it gets added here first.

Strictly necessary

These cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in or payment.

  • Sign-in session cookies (Lovable Cloud / Supabase) — keep you signed in to the client portal or admin console. Set only after you sign in.
  • Security and abuse-prevention tokens — short-lived values used to confirm a form was submitted by a person. Not used to identify you.
  • Stripe — set when you open a payment form, to process the payment and detect fraud.

Analytics (optional)

If you visit from the EU, UK, EEA or Switzerland, the analytics tag is not loaded at all until you press Accept on the cookie banner. Everywhere else analytics runs by default and you can switch it off at any time.

Turn analytics off for your browser on the Your Privacy Choices page at /privacy-choices, or reopen the banner with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Your choice is stored on your device, takes effect straight away, and clears any analytics cookies already set.

  • Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0R7J6JQXWE) — counts page views and key actions such as starting a scan or requesting a call. IP addresses are handled by Google; we see aggregate reports, not individual identities.

Other third-party requests

  • Google Fonts — the page fonts (Sora, Manrope, JetBrains Mono) are requested from Google’s font servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request. No cookies are set on this site by them.
  • Google Calendar and Google Meet — used after you book a call, to create the event and video link. No cookies are set on this site by them.

Advertising

We run no advertising or retargeting pixels. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Browser controls

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the portal and checkout from working.
